The Opportunity C3Talent has partnered exclusively with a well-established, privately owned construction group to recruit a permanent Finance Officer. This is a full-time position working onsite in the Brisbane CBD.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will support the day-to‑day finance function across accounts payable, reconciliations and general finance administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys transactional finance but wants broader exposure and the opportunity to develop their accounting skill set.

Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices accurately and within required timeframes

Maintain supplier records and respond to account queries

Manage the shared accounts inbox

Complete supplier statement and daily bank reconciliations

Reconcile expense claims, credit cards and petty cash

Investigate and resolve discrepancies

Assist with supplier payment runs and remittances

Support intercompany invoicing and general ledger maintenance

Assist with balance sheet reconciliations

Support month-end, year-end and audit requirements

Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails

Assist with system testing and finance process improvements





About You You will bring hands‑on transactional finance experience and a strong understanding of accounts payable and reconciliations. Just as importantly, you will be approachable, adaptable and comfortable working on‑site, within a close‑knit team.

You will ideally have:

At least two years’ experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Officer or Finance Officer role

Experience processing invoices and completing reconciliations

Strong accuracy and attention to detail

Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities

A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach

Confidence learning new accounting systems and processes

An interest in developing broader accounting experience
