Egan Brothers Facility Specialists is a Victorian multi-trade facility services business delivering electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services across the education, government, and private sectors. We're a tight-knit team of 40+ trade professionals operating across Melbourne, Geelong, and Ballarat — and we're growing.

About the Role This is a brand new position for us in the South Eastern Suburbs, and a genuine opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting government-backed initiative. As our first dedicated electrician in the region, you'll play a key role delivering the electrification program across residential and community properties throughout the South East.

The role has two core components — you'll begin by conducting property assessments, evaluating existing electrical infrastructure and identifying upgrade pathways, before moving into the hands-on delivery of the electrification works themselves. No two days look the same, and you'll have real ownership of your patch.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys operating autonomously, and wants to be part of something meaningful — helping households and communities transition to cleaner energy, one property at a time.

What You'll Be Doing

Conducting detailed electrical assessments across residential properties throughout the Barwon Region

Delivering electrification upgrade works — switchboard upgrades,



circuit additions, EV-ready infrastructure and more

Liaising with property occupants and stakeholders in a qualified and approachable manner

Completing compliance documentation, test reports, and certificates of electrical safety

Collaborating with our broader plumbing and HVAC teams where needed

Representing Egan Brothers to a high standard on every job

What We're Looking For

Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)

Solid experience in domestic and light commercial electrical work

Experience with switchboards, metering, and residential electrical upgrades (highly regarded)

Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one

Valid driver's licence

A motivated, self-driven attitude — you'll be working independently across the region

Strong communication skills — you'll be dealing with clients and occupants daily

Electrification experience is a bonus, but not essential. If you've got the right attitude and trade foundation, we'd love to hear from you.
