Job Description

We're looking for a capableAccounts Officerto join our Head Office team in Pinkenba. You'll work across the finance function of a national business, with exposure to reporting, budgeting, controls and day-to-day accounting operations, directly alongside our Financial Controller.

What you'll be doing

n

- General ledger and month-end processes
n
- Processing weekly payroll and completing payroll reconciliations
n
- Preparing P&L; and balance sheet reports
n
- Overseeing and supporting AP and AR functions
n
- Investigating discrepancies and resolving accounting issues
n
- Assisting with internal and external audits
n
- Working closely with the Financial Controller on broader finance matters
n

What we're looking for

n

- Experience processing payroll
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and commercial thinking
n




- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
n
- Pronto or Employment Hero experience is a bonus, not a requirement
n
- Availability to work full-time from our Pinkenba office
n
