SKIPS4U is looking for an experienced and reliable Hook Truck / Skip Bin Truck Driver to join our growing team servicing the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Tweed Heads.
We’re a busy waste management company with a modern fleet and a large range of skip and hook bins. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, looks after their truck and can provide great service to our commercial and construction clients.
About the Role
This is a full-time driving position operating either our hook trucks, skip trucks, or both depending on your experience.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Delivering and collecting skip bins and hook bins
- Completing bin changeovers across construction and commercial sites
- Safely loading, unloading and securing bins
- Communicating with customers and our operations team
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Keeping your truck clean and well maintained
- Following site safety requirements and company procedures
- Using our booking/job system to complete allocated runs
What We're Looking For
Ideally you will have:
- Current HR or HC licence
- Previous hook truck and/or skip bin experience preferred
- Positive knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas
- Construction site experience
- White Card
- Strong safety awareness
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in waste management, hook lift trucks, skip loaders or similar heavy vehicle operations will be highly regarded.
