This is a customer-focused Internal Sales role working as part of a team that specialises in supporting customers across the mining and industrial sectors.

You’ll play an important role in delivering responsive, knowledgeable service to customers, with a focus on preparing and following up quotations, sourcing products, providing technical product advice and identifying sales opportunities. Building robust, trusted relationships with customers and understanding their operational requirements will be key to your success.

We’re looking for someone who is customer-focused, commercially minded and keen to develop their career within the electrical wholesale industry.

Job Description

Supporting the day-to-day requirements of customers operating across the mining and industrial sectors. This includes driving sales and ensuring all customers receive the best possible level of service

Providing product advice and technical support to customers

Preparing quotations, sourcing products and following up outstanding orders

Managing customer sales and projects, including DIFOT performance





Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and solutions

Building strong working relationships with suppliers to achieve the best outcomes for customers and the business

Capturing sales activity and customer information in CRM in line with sales excellence best practice

Qualifications

Electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience is essential

Experience working with customers within the mining, industrial or related sectors is highly desirable

Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and deliver customer-focused outcomes

A passion for providing great customer service and the ability to thrive in a busy environment

Strong attention to detail and a professional approach

Sound product knowledge, ideally across electrical products and solutions

Enthusiastic, ambitious and keen to learn and build your career with us
