We're looking for a National Maintenance Manager to join our senior leadership team and help shape the future of TR Group Australia.

This is more than a maintenance role. You'll be responsible for our largest controllable cost while leading a national team, driving fleet performance, strengthening supplier partnerships, and supporting long-term business growth.

About the Team

TR Group specialise in heavy commercial vehicles, with a goal to be the best in the world at what we do. With branches across Australia and New Zealand, we work hard to deliver a top-quality product and service for our customers - with over 2,100 Trailers, and a building inventory of over 600 Trucks, our team are busy keeping our customers and gear on the road. Since 1992 we have put huge emphasis on our culture and the team which helps to create and drive an environment where we can learn, grow and constantly challenge ourselves.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing national Maintenance team

n

Own and manage national maintenance budgets in partnership with the General Manager AU

n

Drive fleet reliability, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency

n

Build scalable systems, processes, and maintenance strategies to support growth

n

Manage supplier performance, commercial outcomes, warranties, recalls, and safety standards

n

Use data to support preventative and predictive maintenance decisions

n





Work closely with Fleet and Operations leaders on purchasing, refurbishments, costs, and performance

n

Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and support commercial growth

n

Champion continuous improvement, sustainability, and future-focused fleet solutions

n

What You'll Bring

n

5+ years' strong leadership experience, with a track record of building capable teams

n

Strong technical knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance, repairs, and operations

n

Commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership and cost management

n

Strategic thinking with the ability to balance short-term needs and long-term outcomes

n

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

n

Confidence managing supplier relationships and complex conversations

n

Analytical, solutions-focused thinking

n

Robust digital and systems capability
