Design and Technology Teacher | Permanent Full time Position | Commencing Term 1, 2027

The successful applicant will teach Design and Technology across Years 7-12, fostering creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation in a contemporary learning environment.

n

This role may attract a leadership allowance.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Teach Design and Technology to students in Years 7-12.
n
- Deliver engaging, innovative, and differentiated learning experiences.
n
- Contribute to the development and implementation of contemporary Design and Technology curriculum programs.
n
- Be able to support and guide students through major design projects and folios.
n
- Foster creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.
n
- Integrate emerging technologies and industry-relevant practices into teaching and learning.
n
- Contribute positively to the co-curricular life of the school.
n
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, students,



and parents.
n
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation
n
- Demonstrated passion for Design and Technology education
n
- Experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school setting
n
- Knowledge of design processes, prototyping, product development and emerging technologies
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
- Work effectively and collaboratively within a Faculty team
n
- Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
n
- Capacity to contribute positively to the broader life of the school
n
