About the role

Join our Legal & Governance Division as a Contract Management Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager Legal. You’ll help us manage high-value and government contracts, strengthen procurement practices, and meet our contractual, regulatory and compliance obligations.

Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll translate contract requirements into practical processes, identify and manage risks, and support better outcomes from our suppliers and partners.

In this role, you will:

- Manage contract governance, performance monitoring, reporting, renewals and other activities across the contract lifecycle.
- Advise teams on contractual obligations and help them put compliant practices in place, with a particular focus on our DAP and Resource and Recovery Centre programs.
- Monitor contract and supplier performance, escalating risks and identifying opportunities to improve.
- Maintain accurate contract registers, procurement records, templates and reporting.
- Support supplier onboarding, including the collection and verification of required documentation.




- Contribute to tender bids and the ongoing improvement of contract management and procurement processes.

About you

You’re comfortable working with complex contracts and can explain what they mean in a way that helps people act. You build trusted relationships, pay close attention to detail and can balance sound governance with practical business needs.

You’ll bring:

- At least eight years’ experience in contract management, governance, compliance and supplier relationship management in a medium to large, regulated organisation.
- Solid experience managing high-value contracts, including performance, risk and compliance obligations.
- The ability to interpret contracts, legislation and standards and turn their requirements into workable processes.
- Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A qualification in law, business, commerce, procurement, contract management or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Experience in disability services, government or another highly regulated sector would be valuable. Experience with government tenders or implementing contract management frameworks would also be well regarded.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and willing to obtain and maintain at least a Baseline Security Clearance.
