We're seeking a Producer to join our growing Jack Nimble team in Sydney! This is initially a 6 month contract position.

Position Description

n

The Producer is responsible for bringing all aspects of a shoot together, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and are safe for all involved.

- Build relationships with new and existing suppliers to bring fresh thinking and positive energy to sets.
n
- Champion social-first production processes on all projects.
n
- Make our sets the most fun, welcoming and inclusive sets out there.
n
- Ensure the profitability of all projects.
n
- Build relationships with clients, ensuring they have a positive experience during all phases of the production process.
n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop production budgets with oversight from the HOP.
n
- Recruit crew for productions, negotiate fees and contracts mostly independently.
n
- Schedule productions, develop timelines, call sheets, ensuring deadlines adhered to.
n
- Liaise with talent to schedule shoots or facilitate pre-interviews.
n
- Organise and, when required, attend site recces with crew.Organise all equipment for shoots,



either booking and picking up or arranging for crew to do so.
n
- Work closely with directors, creative directors, art directors, production designers, photographers, writers, etc. to develop treatments and scripts.
n
- Organise and lead pre-production meetings as and when required;
n
- Manage client expectations, identify and address emerging problems with both internal and external stakeholders;
n
- Be the client's primary contact in relation to all things pre- production, ensuring the client is updated at all times.
n
- Attend shoots as an on-set producer, ensuring productions run on time, on budget, and are secure for all involved.
n
- Be the client's primary contact on-set.
n
- Manage all aspects of post-production, ensuring the work of internal and external suppliers is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
n
- Comply with client feedback and work with relevant suppliers to ensure it is addressed as best as possible.
n
- Work closely with creative directors and directors to ensure creative vision is met throughout all aspects of post production.
n
- Be the client's primary contact in relation to all things post- production, ensuring the client is updated at all times;
n
- Ensure productions stay on schedule or update clients accordingly if timelines need to be changed.
n
- Work closely with EP, Head of Production and our production team in a collaborative way.

- A thorough understanding of the entire production process.

- Confident on-set producer, with a complete understanding of roles and responsibilities of crew.

- Able to think on your feet quickly to resolve problems.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Fully capable of independently scheduling, budgeting, and bringing a production to life.
n
- An understanding of the importance of thinking platform-first when creating social content.
n
- Attention to detail with a zero error mentality.An ability to read a room.

- Exceptional organisational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
