Pacific Furniture & Bedding is seeking a Multi Drop Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team in Wollongong, NSW. This is a part-time position, 4 days per week, with a 5th day on offer many weeks. As a Multi Drop Furniture Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering furniture items across multiple locations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring all deliveries are completed professionally and efficiently. This role is essential to our operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and brand reputation. We require a current MR licence with recent driving experience. The role requires on average between 1 and 3 overnights each week, for which we book a hotel and an overnight allowance is paid.

Key responsibilities
n

- Operate MR trucks safely and efficiently to transport furniture and bedding products to multiple customer locations. The locations are mostly residential.

- Navigate planned delivery routes and manage multiple stops per day to optimise delivery schedules
n
- Carefully load and unload furniture items, ensuring products remain undamaged during transport
n
- Provide professional customer service at each delivery point, including setting up items where required
n
- Obtain customer signatures and complete all necessary delivery documentation accurately
n
- Communicate any delivery issues or delays to management in a timely manner
n
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct basic vehicle checks, and report any mechanical issues
n
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
n
- Build positive relationships with customers and represent Pacific Furniture & Bedding professionally

What we're looking for

- Current, valid MR driver's licence with a clean record and recent driving experience
n
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving multi-drop deliveries
n
- Strong knowledge of road safety rules and regulations
n
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
n
- Physical capability to lift and handle heavy furniture items safely
n
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanour
n
- Reliability and punctuality with excellent attendance
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking software is advantageous
