An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced

Finance Manager with a background in government, not-for-profit or a similar community-focused environment

to join a well-established organisation based in Emerald. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day finance function while also partnering with senior leaders to support

financial sustainability, strong governance and continuous improvement . Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the finance function across

Financial Accounting, AP, AR and Payroll Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting and statutory accounts Lead the annual

budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

processes Coordinate year-end and external audits and maintain strong financial controls and compliance Prepare high-quality financial reporting for

Executive Leadership, Board and Committees Partner with operational leaders,



providing financial analysis and insights to support business performance Drive continuous improvement across

financial systems, policies, procedures and internal controls About You

Demonstrated finance experience within government, not-for-profit, tourism or a community-focused organisation - essential CPA, CA or equivalent qualified accounting qualification Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline Proven experience in a

senior finance leadership / Finance Manager position Experience leading a finance team across multiple functions such as Financial Accounting, AP, AR and Payroll Solid experience across

financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and statutory compliance Experience preparing and presenting financial information for

senior leadership, Boards and/or Committees This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Emerald.
