ACIL Allen, Australia's most trusted independent economics, public policy and strategy advisory firm, is seeking driven, ambitious and enthusiastic senior consultantsto join oureconomics practice in Sydney. At ACIL Allen, you will be given ownership of client problems, challenges and opportunities, and the tools and guidance to help find solutions. You will work across the full breadth of ACIL Allen's advisory portfolio, including:

developing methodologies and proposals

n

collecting, analysing and interpreting information

n

managing client relationships and overseeing project delivery

n

contributing to thought leadership in economics and public policy

n

conducting research, writing reports, and engaging with stakeholders.

n

ACIL Allen's senior consultants are involved in the full lifecycle of a client engagement, from scoping work and developing methodologies through to presenting final reports and advice. You will bring established advisory experience to complex and high-profile engagements, while also helping to shape the approach and direction of those engagements.

About you

n

To be considered for this position, you must:

possess robust analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with economic, financial or other data to generate unique and actionable insights

n

have the capability to communicate verbal and written insights clearly and persuasively

n

be able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

n

have the ability to work effectively across different industry sectors and parts of our advisory practice

n

lead and mentor junior consultants, contributing to their growth and development.

n

About your qualifications and skills

n





4+ years' experiencein economics and/or public policy within a consulting, government, private sector, or advisory context.

n

Tertiary qualification in a quantitative or economics-based discipline( such as Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, or Finance) preferred.

n

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in other analytical tools, desirable.
