Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering scheduled maintenance, reactive works and contract requirements across commercial aquatic facilities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong pool industry background, commercial plant room experience and a good understanding of pool water chemistry and equipment.

Key responsibilities

- Completing scheduled pool and aquatic facility maintenance
n
- Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
n
- Inspecting and maintaining pool plant rooms and associated equipment
n
- Monitoring and managing pool water chemistry
n
- Identifying faults and providing practical solutions
n
- Carrying out testing, servicing and minor repairs
n
- Ordering parts and materials required to complete works
n
- Managing allocated jobs from initial attendance through to completion
n
- Maintaining accurate work notes, photos and service records
n
- Working within client contracts, service schedules and site requirements
n
- Communicating professionally with clients, facility managers and the Berry Air office
n
- Maintaining a high standard of WHS and site compliance
n

About you

n

n
- Previous experience working as a Pool Technician or in a similar aquatic maintenance role
n
- Strong pool chemistry knowledge and experience
n
- Experience with commercial pool systems and equipment
n




- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out reactive maintenance
n
- Good understanding of pool plant room operations
n
- Ability to work independently and manage allocated works
n
- Strong attention to detail and job documentation
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- A strong commitment to safety
n
- Commercial aquatic facility experience
n
- Experience with dosing systems, pumps, filtration and water treatment equipment
n
- Refrigeration, HVAC, electrical or mechanical experience
n
- Relevant pool industry qualifications
n
- Experience working under council or commercial maintenance contracts
n
- 9-day fortnight available, or the option to accumulate RDOs
n
- Stable, full-time position with a growing local business
