Job Description

Working closely with the Head Pastry Chef and pastry team, you'll play a senior hands-on role across production, quality and development. This is an opportunity for someone who takes their craft seriously, someone who understands dough, pastry techniques, lamination and consistency, and wants to have a genuine influence on the pastry program of a growing bakery brand.

Key responsibilities

- Maintaining exceptional consistency across daily production
n
- Troubleshooting dough, fermentation and production issues
n
- Supporting production planning and organisation
n
- Training and mentoring junior pastry chefs
n
- Maintaining strong systems, cleanliness and food-safety standards
n
- Developing and testing new pastries, flavours and seasonal products
n
- Helping continually improve the quality and efficiency of our pastry program
n

About you

n

n
- 5+ years' professional pastry experience
n
- Strong experience in lamination and viennoiserie is preferable
n
- Experience working in a quality, high-volume bakery or pastry environment
n
- Excellent understanding of dough,



fermentation and pastry production
n
- High attention to detail and consistency
n
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
n
- The ability to lead, teach and communicate effectively
n
- Pride in their craft and a genuine interest in continuing to develop
n
