The Opportunity

n

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a large, established manufacturing operation on the Central Coast.

n

This is a hands-on electrical maintenance role working across automated production and packaging equipment, with a strong focus on fault finding, PLC-controlled equipment, preventative maintenance and plant reliability.

n

You'll work closely with the wider maintenance, engineering and production teams to keep equipment running safely and efficiently, minimise downtime and resolve recurring equipment issues.

The Roster

n

This is a permanent Sunday to Wednesday position:

n

n
- Sunday: 5:00am – 1:30pm
n
- Monday to Wednesday: 12:00pm – 10:30pm
n
- Thursday to Saturday: Off
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Electrical maintenance across manufacturing and production equipment
n
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system faults
n
- Fault find on Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC-controlled equipment
n
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
n
- Complete planned and preventative maintenance
n
- Work across automated production and packaging machinery
n
- Identify recurring faults and support reliability improvements
n




- Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
n
- Work closely with mechanical trades, production and engineering
n
- Maintain strong safety, quality and compliance standards
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone with:

n

n
- Australian Electrical Licence and relevant trade qualification
n
- Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
n
- Experience within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing highly regarded
n
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC systems
n
- Experience maintaining automated production equipment
n
- Good understanding of preventative maintenance and reliability
n
- Robust problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work effectively alongside production and other trades
n

n

You don't need to be a PLC programmer, but you do need to be comfortable using PLC systems to diagnose faults and understand what's happening with the equipment.
