The Role

n

Launceston General Hospital is a 400-bed accredited teaching hospital and the major referral centre for Northern and North West Tasmania.

n

Working within its fast-paced Emergency Department, you will provide high-level acute and emergency nursing care across all areas, including triage and resuscitation. You will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team while caring for patients with a wide range of presentations.

n

This opportunity is ideal for a confident and adaptable Emergency Nurse with robust clinical judgement who can quickly become part of a busy team.

Pay Rates - RN 1.8

n

- Monday-Friday Day $70.00

- Monday-Friday Afternoon $78.40
n
- Monday-Friday Night $80.50
n




- Saturday $105.00
n
- Sunday $122.50
n
- Public Holiday - Ordinary Shift $140.00

- Public Holiday - Overtime $175.00
n

All rates are paid per hour, plus superannuation.

Requirements

n

To be considered, you must have:

n

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Recent Emergency Department experience
n
- Current Advanced Life Support certification
n
- Triage and resuscitation competency
n
- Ability to work a rotating roster
n
- Australian working rights
n
