Key responsibilities

- Welcoming guests and providing a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience
n
- Managing reception enquiries, bookings, payments and guest requests
n
- Acting as the Duty Manager during assigned shifts and taking responsibility for the property
n
- Responding confidently to guest issues and resolving problems as they arise
n
- Supporting the safety, security and wellbeing of guests
n
- Completing end-of-shift procedures and handovers
n
- Working closely with housekeeping, maintenance and other team members
n
- Helping create a fun, social and welcoming environment for our guests
n
- Ensuring BUNK's standards and procedures are maintained throughout your shift

About you

- Has previous experience in accommodation, hospitality, tourism or customer service
n
- Is confident working independently and making decisions
n




- Has strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Is comfortable dealing with challenging guest situations
n
- Can remain calm and professional when things get busy
n
- Has a genuine interest in providing great guest experiences
n
- Is reliable, organised and takes responsibility for their shift
n
- Is comfortable working evenings and weekends
n
- Has previous Duty Manager or supervisory experience (preferred, but not essential)
n
- Previous hostel or hotel reception experience will be highly regarded
n
