Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide practical HR support and end-to-end recruitment services across its national operations.
You’ll partner with operational leaders across Australia, supporting employee relations, performance management and workforce planning while recruiting high-volume operational, laboratory, technical and professional roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and coaching to managers and employees.
- Manage performance, grievances, investigations and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, modern awards, policies and procedures.
- Support workforce planning, organisational change and engagement initiatives.
- Assist with HR reporting and process improvements.
- Build strong relationships across the business.
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple Australian locations.
- Recruit high-volume operational and laboratory employees alongside technical specialists, professionals and leaders.
- Partner with managers to understand workforce requirements and priorities.
- Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Manage advertising, interviews, assessments, offers and onboarding.
- Provide market insights and improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Support employer branding,
graduate and traineeship initiatives.
About You
- Five or more years’ experience across generalist HR, HR advisory or talent acquisition.
- Strong employee relations and end-to-end recruitment experience.
- Operational, laboratory, mining or manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Knowledge of the Manufacturing Award is desirable.
- Confident working independently and managing competing priorities.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
