The Opportunity

n

We are seeking a motivated second or third-year Apprentice Electrician with proven experience in domestic current-home construction.

n

This position is suited to someone who already understands residential construction environments and has practical experience completing rough-ins, cut-outs and fit-offs.

n

You will work alongside experienced electricians on premium and architecturally designed homes while continuing to develop your technical skills across electrical, lighting, automation, security and communications systems.

n

This is not an entry-level apprenticeship position. Applicants must have at least 12 months of hands‐on domestic new‐home construction experience.

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Assisting with electrical rough-ins, cut-outs and fit-offs on new-home projects.
n
- Installing cabling, lighting, power, switchboards, data and communications systems.
n




- Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas.
n
- Reading plans and following installation specifications.
n
- Completing work to ProGlow's quality and safety standards.
n
- Supporting qualified electricians and contributing productively to the site team.
n
- Developing skills in home automation, security, CCTV and audio-visual systems.
n

What We Are Looking For

n

n
- A current second or third-year electrical apprentice.
n
- At least 12 months of domestic new-home construction experience.
n
- Practical experience with rough‐in, cut‐out and fit‐off work.
n
- A strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility.
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.
n
- Good knowledge of electrical hand tools and construction‐site practices.
n
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
n
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
n
- A current Construction Induction White Card.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n
