Assistant Venue Manager

to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves hospitality, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and knows how to get the best out of a team. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue, while helping shape the culture, standards and performance of the team. About the role

As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for helping lead all aspects of the venue, including: Leading and motivating a large front-of-house team Delivering consistently high standards of service, food and presentation Supporting the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations Driving sales, profitability and key venue KPIs Managing labour, rostering and team performance Training, coaching and developing supervisors and team members Maintaining robust operational, safety and compliance standards Handling guest feedback and resolving issues confidently Supporting functions, events and high-volume trading periods Opening and closing the venue and taking ownership of shifts Contributing ideas that improve the guest experience and the way we operate About you

We're looking for someone who is

already operating at a senior hospitality level

and is ready to take the next step. You'll ideally have:



Previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar Strong experience in a high-volume pub, restaurant, bar or hospitality environment Excellent communication and people-management skills A genuine ability to lead by example Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of venue KPIs Confidence managing challenging situations and difficult conversations Excellent organisation and attention to detail A positive, solutions-focused attitude The ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences Most importantly,
