About the Role

n

This is a varied front desk and administrative role supporting a team of specialists, nurses and administrative staff. You will be working within established systems and processes, with support from senior team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Front desk reception and telephone enquiries
n
- Appointment scheduling, recalls and waiting lists
n
- Booking and coordinating procedure/theatre lists
n
- Processing payments,



Medicare and health fund claims
n
- Maintaining accurate patient records
n
- Liaising with hospitals, referrers and healthcare providers
n
- Supporting the day-to-day coordination of patient care
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
- Has experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role
n
- Is confident using Genie or similar medical software
n
- Has a sound understanding of Medicare and private billing
n
- Is organised, detail-focused and able to follow processes accurately
n
- Communicates professionally and with empathy
n
- Works well within a team and supports colleagues when needed
n
- Is reliable and takes pride in their work
n

n

Flexibility with start and finish times (within standard weekday hours) is required.
