Applewood Residential Developments is the operator of Applewood, anaward- winning, residential lifestyle community in Doncaster.

n

We are seeking to appoint a Part-time Emergency Response Officer for an immediate startbased at our Doncaster property.

n

This role will suit an experienced Personal Care Worker or even a student who may be studying medicine, nursing or another field of study relevant to the healthcare industry.

n

In this role you will be responsible for providing overnightandweekend customer service for our independent living residents and providing assistance in the following areas:

n

Responding to emergency situations and evening call-outs

n

Performing administrative duties as required

n

Performing house-keeping duties as required

n





Providing assistance to catering services for home delivery of resident meals

n

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

n

A strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact effectively with an over 55 demographic

n

A self-starter who can work independently

n

Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR

n

Thorough understanding of Occupational Health and Safety issues

n

Ability to deal with medical emergencies in a calm and skilled manner

n

Experience within the retirement industry preferred but not essential

n

The successful candidate will be required to perform sleepover duties.

n

Competitive rates and sleepover shift allowances apply as per the Aged Care Award - Aged Care Employee Level 3.
