The Avenue Children's Centre and Kindergarten in Balaclava, VIC is seeking a Diploma-qualified Assistant Director for a 12-month maternity leave cover starting in November 2026.

You will lead a team of about 15 educators, support the day-to-day operation with the Acting Centre Manager, and help ensure smooth, compliant operation of the centre.

Successful applicants will have leadership experience, knowledge of EYLF/NQS/NQF, and current certifications, plus a cooperative, people-focused approach.
