Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Engagement and Events Coordinator to join Office of the Executive Dean, Faculty of Business and Law. The Engagement and Events Coordinator leads the Faculty of Business and Law's program of targeted engagement events and activities and operational coordination of the Faculty engagement and events budget. The role combines specialist events expertise with budget ownership, analysis and a direct advisory remit, exercising substantial judgement over how engagement resources are prioritised and deployed in support of the Faculty's strategic priorities. The position works across the Faculty — with Schools, professional services teams and central portfolios such as Marketing and Communications and Business Development — reconciling competing demands into a single, coherent Faculty-wide engagement program. The role collaborates with the Engagement and Events Officer as part of an integrated events and engagement function.

We’re offering this role as a hybrid position as part of QUT’s commitment to embracing the opportunities created by a more virtual and connected world.
