DAWMAC INDUSTRIES is seeking a reliable and motivated Workshop Small Engine / Power Equipment Repairer to join our friendly Berrigan team. This hands‑on role is suited to someone with mechanical ability, strong attention to detail, and an interest in servicing and repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair outdoor power equipment and associated components
- Carry out routine maintenance, fault finding, and mechanical repairs
- Identify, order, and fit spare parts
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organised workshop
- Provide practical customer advice and support the sales team when required
About you
- Experience with small engines, mechanical repairs,
or outdoor power equipment preferred
- Practical problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, team‑focused, and willing to learn
- Good communication skills and a helpful customer‑focused attitude
- Basic computer skills for parts look‑up and job records
- Relevant trade qualifications, mechanical background, or forklift licence would be highly regarded, but are not essential
