DSW Disability Services – Lake Heights NSW

Supporting one participant at home and in the community. Primary shifts are 8:30am to 3:30pm, extending to afternoons and overnights, with shifts available 7 days a week.

Key responsibilities

- Hoisting, transfers and manual handling
- Supporting complex pain management
- Community access, including loading a wheelchair into a van
- Standard in home duties

About you

- Female only role
- Experience with hoisting, transfers and manual handling (essential)
- Experience with bowel care and supporting people with high physical needs
- Clear English and strong communication skills
- Reliable and dependable. Consistency matters enormously in this role.
- Current driver's licence and NDIS workers check
- Cert 3 in disability or equivalent or reasonable proof of experience in the area
