TRUCK TECH is looking for an experienced Leading Hand to join our Chipping Norton workshop on day shift.

n

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows trucks, can support a team and knows how to keep a busy workshop moving. You'll work closely with the Workshop and Branch Manager while being the go-to person for technicians on the floor.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Leading and supporting technicians on the workshop floor
n
- Coordinating jobs and keeping workflow moving
n
- Providing technical support and guidance
n




- Getting on the tools when needed
n
- Assisting with complex diagnostics and fault finding
n
- Monitoring workmanship, productivity and safety
n
- Supporting and developing apprentices and technicians
n
- Communicating job progress and priorities with workshop management
n
- Setting the standard for accountability, teamwork and quality
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
- Robust heavy vehicle servicing, repair and diagnostic experience
n
- Previous Leading Hand, Senior Technician, Foreman or supervisory experience preferred
n
- Confident leading and supporting a team
n
- Someone who leads from the front and gets things done
