Are you an experienced Medical Receptionist looking for a part-time opportunity close to home?

Our client, a busy specialist medical clinic in the Sutherland Shire, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to start ASAP for a 1-month temporary assignment (needing full commitment).

Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am–5pm, you'll join a supportive and established team within a busy front-office environment. Conveniently located close to public transport, this is a great opportunity for someone seeking a short-term, part-time role within a professional and welcoming team.

The Role

n

As part of the front-office team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Welcoming and assisting patients and visitors at reception
n
- Managing appointments, referrals, incoming calls and email enquiries
n
- Processing billing and payments
n
- Updating and maintaining patient files
n
- Liaising with and engaging with the clinic's referral network
n
- Completing general administration including scanning, filing, photocopying and attaching documents
n




- Assisting with rosters and other administrative tasks
n
- Supporting the wider reception team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic
n

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a fast-paced reception or administration environment, ideally within the medical sector (preferred)
n
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
n
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
n
- Confidence working in a busy setting with a positive, can-do attitude
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
n
- Initiative and a proactive approach to your work
n
- A collaborative and team-focused approach
