About you
You’ll be regularly available in the afternoon/early evening, punctual and have a positive attitude towards work. We’re looking for people who thrive on being part of and contributing to a team and who want to help us create amazing. You will need to be physically fit as the role involves a lot of manual handling tasks.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest level of service to our customers, coordinating the setup of events in accordance with event orders, amendments, and floor plans. Preparing and clearing rooms for all events including setting up tables, chairs, linen, place settings and dance floors and more!
You’ll also need:
Availability primarily in the afternoon/early evening
Excellent work ethic – Reliable, punctual, positive attitude, resilient
Thrive on being part of and contributing to a high-performing team.
Prepare and pack down event space - e.g., handling furniture or stock (not limited to)
Have valid working rights in Australia.
Access to your own transport or ability to get home after public transport hours
Physically fit- you'll be walking most of your shift and at times lifting/moving equipment and furniture.
Able to abide to OH&S; policy and procedure.
Previous experience in setting up and packing down events.
Previous experience in moving /setting up equipment and furniture.
Afternoon shifts
– starting later in the day (generally between 2pm and 5pm) and finishing in the evening (11.30pm or later)
including late night finish.
