About Our Team

The Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Team at BCE is dedicated to fostering and maintaining safe and healthy environments for employees, students, and visitors across schools and office locations. They offer expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and wellbeing to key internal stakeholders, managing projects to ensure compliance and cultivate a positive workplace culture. The team collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behavioural change throughout BCE, and they support rehabilitation and return-to-work initiatives.

Summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a Systems Support Officer – Health, Safety and Wellbeing to support the systems, data, reporting and operational processes that underpin the delivery of health, safety and wellbeing services across the organisation. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will provide system administration, reporting, technical support and process improvement expertise, helping to ensure accurate data,



informed decision-making and the smooth delivery of services that contribute to safe and healthy workplaces.

Work hours: Fulltime | Flexible Working Arrangements Available

Status: Fixed Term | October 2026 - January 2027

Salary: $80,318 plus super

About The Opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

Maintain and manage health, safety and wellbeing systems, databases and records to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Act as a key point of contact for system enquiries, providing guidance, support and issue resolution for staff and stakeholders

Prepare and analyse reports using Microsoft Office, Power BI and WHS systems to support performance monitoring and decision-making

Support the administration and ongoing improvement of Health, Safety and Wellbeing systems

Coordinate training administration, resource preparation and stakeholder communication activities

Develop guides, procedures, manuals and communications that support effective service delivery and knowledge sharing

Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance team performance, systems and operational practices

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver responsive, customer-focused support

About You

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

Strong data management skills with the ability to maintain accurate records, databases and reporting tools

Advanced capability in Microsoft Office applications, with experience using reporting and data visualisation tools highly regarded

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify solutions and implement improvements

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and support to a diverse range of customers

Experience preparing reports, analysing data and identifying trends to inform business decisions

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

A proactive,



customer-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence

Experience in a systems support, administration, reporting or operational support role

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment

Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement
