Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and mobile plant safely and efficiently
- Load, move, and stockpile materials
- Complete daily pre-starts and basic equipment checks
- Assist with general quarry and labouring duties
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace
- Report hazards, faults, and maintenance requirements
- Support production targets while following all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a small site team
Skills & Experience
- Experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery
- Strong commitment to safety
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Quarry, civil, construction, or earthmoving experience highly regarded, along with current and relevant tickets
