About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead Generator to join Apollo Energy Solutions on a full-time basis in Cardiff, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in solar sales with a clear pathway to senior positions. As a Lead Generator, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, identifying qualified prospects and generating high-quality leads that feed into our sales pipeline. This role is fundamental to our sales operation and offers significant earning potential combined with genuine career progression opportunities for high performers.

What you'll be doing

Generating qualified leads through outbound calling, door-to-door canvassing, and digital outreach strategies

Conducting initial customer discovery conversations to understand energy needs and identify solar solution opportunities

Qualifying prospects based on established criteria and transferring leads to senior sales consultants

Building rapport and trust with potential customers, communicating the benefits of solar energy and Apollo Energy Solutions' offerings

Maintaining accurate records of all lead generation activities and prospect information in our CRM system

Meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation targets

Collaborating with the sales team to refine lead qualification criteria and improve conversion rates





Attending training sessions and product knowledge workshops to stay current with solar technology and industry trends

Representing Apollo Energy Solutions professionally at community events, expos, and networking opportunities where appropriate

What we're looking for

Proven experience in lead generation, telemarketing, or sales development roles (preferred but not essential)

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and build relationships quickly

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously

Resilience and determination to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a target-driven environment

Basic IT proficiency and comfort learning new software systems and CRM platforms

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting

Enthusiasm for renewable energy and a genuine passion for helping customers transition to solar & batteries

Preferred experience: Background in customer service, retail, hospitality, or field sales demonstrates valuable transferable skills
