We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Plate Profiling team in Milperra on a full-time, permanent basis.

n

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in plasma and/or oxy cutting who takes pride in producing quality work and is looking to build a long-term career within the steel industry.

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Previous experience in plasma and/or oxy cutting
n
- Ability to read technical drawings
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
n
- Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
n
- Working with Overhead Cranes (training provided if required)
n

What You'll Be Doing:

n

n
- Review and pick jobs for the machine, ensuring the correct materials and specifications are prepared
n




- Set up and calibrate oxy and plasma cutting machines
n
- Load and unload steel materials for processing
n
- Program machines with appropriate cutting parameters
n
- Monitor cutting processes to ensure quality and efficiency
n
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
n
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished product
n
