Responsible for managing and developing sales in a designated territory, with a focus on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) products and services. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies for NGS products and services in a designated territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key decision-makers and influencers
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new customer acquisition and upselling/cross-selling to existing customers
Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers and prospects
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical specialist, marketing, product development, and logistics,
to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the company's SFDC system
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, as established by the company
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, molecular, biotechnology)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, a focus on NGS products and services will be a plus
Minimum of 2 years of experience in local academic research area
Solid understanding of NGS technology and the life sciences market
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
