We're looking for an experienced Windows System Administrator to join a high-performing Managed Services team supporting a major enterprise customer in Port Melbourne.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys solving infrastructure problems, working autonomously and supporting business-critical technology environments.

What You'll Be Doing You'll support the ongoing availability, performance and security of enterprise server infrastructure.

Your day-to-day will include

Administering and supporting Windows Server environments

Installing and configuring server hardware, software, firmware and drivers

Supporting VMware environments, including vCenter, vCloud and vSphere

Managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy

Monitoring server availability, performance, backups and capacity

Managing server access and security controls

Deploying application and infrastructure changes

Supporting data migration and replication between sites

Troubleshooting incidents and providing first-level technical support

Escalating complex issues to specialist support teams

Maintaining technical documentation and configuration records

Collaborating directly with customers and internal IT stakeholders

What We're Looking For Technical Skills & Experienc

3-5+ years' experience in Windows Systems Administration

Experience supporting complex corporate infrastructure environments

Strong Windows Server and Active Directory capability

VMware experience

Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Group Policy

Experience with SCCM and SCOM

Server hardware installation and configuration experience

Backup and recovery administration knowledge

Linux and storage administration exposure





Network and LAN troubleshooting experience

ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform experience

Scripting or infrastructure automation exposure

Strong troubleshooting, documentation and problem-solving skills

IT qualification or equivalent practical experience

Experience with Avamar, Data Domain, NetApp, Networker, VxRail, Unity, Citrix or hyperconverged infrastructure will be highly regarded.

Contract Details

12-month contract

Based onsite in Port Melbourne

Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm

37.5 hours per week

Some after-hours, weekend or on-call work may occasionally be required

Own car and current driver's license required

Mileage reimbursed where applicable

Security Clearance Requirement This position is only open to

Australian Citizens with a current NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance .

Candidates must also meet applicable ITAR and background-check requirements.
