The Opportunity: ISS is searching for an experienced and motivated

Chef

to join our fast‑paced kitchen operations working

Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) roster

from Perth Airport to our remote sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you will be working on a

2:1 roster , giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work. Reporting to the

Head Chef/Village Manager , you’ll showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic remote mining setting while supporting the catering team to deliver high‑quality meals and a positive on‑site dining experience for residents.

Working

10-12 hour days

About the Role: As Chef,



you will participate in kitchen operations while working with fellow qualified chefs to deliver nutritious, high‑quality meals with consistency and pride.

In this role, you will:

Prepare and cook high‑quality meals consistently and efficiently

Support the kitchen team to maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards

Assist with stock management, ordering, and kitchen operations

Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu execution and service improvements

Mentor junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment

Lead with Impact:

To be considered, you need:

Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Commercial Cookery/ Kitchen Management (or international equivalent) -

Essential

Proven professional work experience as qualified chef (minimum 2–3 years) -

Essential

Bulk cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen environment - Desirable

Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure

Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and WHS requirements





Must pass a full Pre‑Employment Medical Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Screen

Full Working rights in Australia

Police Clearance (not older than 12 Months)

Ability to work 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth Airport
