We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener / Grounds Person to join the team at BIG4 Caloundra and help keep our waterfront holiday park looking its best.

This is a hands-on outdoor role covering everything from mowing and pruning to garden maintenance and general presentation of the park.

The Role

n

Your day-to-day will include:

n

Mowing, edging and whipper snipping

n

Pruning trees, shrubs and hedges

n

Weeding and maintaining garden beds

n

Planting, mulching and general garden care

n

Leaf blowing and keeping outdoor areas tidy

n

Maintaining lawns and landscaped areas

n





General grounds and outdoor presentation

n

Identifying areas that need attention and taking initiative to get them sorted

n

Assisting with other general grounds duties as required

n

About You

n

You're the kind of person who sees something that needs fixing and gets it sorted.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

Previous gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience

n

Confidence using mowers, whipper snippers, blowers and other garden equipment

n

Knowledge of basic plant and lawn care

n

Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors

n

A strong work ethic and ability to work independently

n

Excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation

n

A friendly attitude when interacting with guests and the wider team

n

Formal horticultural qualifications are great, but they're not essential. We're more interested in finding someone reliable who knows their way around a garden and takes genuine pride in making outdoor spaces look great.
