This is a hands‑on position combining senior hairdressing and salon management, initially approximately 25 hours per week. You'll have genuine autonomy to run the salon and make decisions about its day‑to‑day operation. As the owner, the hiring manager will remain in the background looking after payroll, superannuation and major financial/business decisions, and will be available for support when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Working with and building your own clientele
- Leading, supporting and developing the team
- Rostering and day‑to‑day staff management
- Weekly team meetings and regular 1:1s
- Setting and driving salon targets and incentives
- Training and development
- Maintaining client experience and salon standards
- Stock ordering, stocktakes and stock control
- Helping drive marketing, promotions and salon growth
