The Royal Hotel Nundah is a vibrant community venue offering something for everyone. With a strong focus on genuine hospitality and memorable guest experiences, we're looking for a passionate Duty Manager to help lead our team.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue by:

- Opening and closing the venue.
- Leading, motivating and supporting the team during busy service periods.
- Coaching, training and developing team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Driving shift performance while maintaining high service, presentation and compliance standards.
- Supporting venue profitability through labour management and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, licensing requirements and gaming regulations.
- Leading from the floor and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.





What We're Looking For

- At least 1 year's experience as a Duty Manager or in a more senior hospitality leadership role.
- Current RMLV and Approved Manager Licence.
- Strong food & beverage knowledge with experience in gaming operations.
- A hands-on leadership style and a passion for developing people.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to remain calm and lead confidently in a fast-paced environment.
