Solar & Battery Energy Solutions Consultant

This is more than a traditional solar sales role. We want someone who can understand a customer's electricity usage, property, and future energy needs, then recommend the right solar, battery, Backup, EV charging, and energy solution.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and follow up on company-generated leads
- Consult with customers by phone, Zoom and face-to-face
- Attend residential and commercial sites when an inspection is required
- Review electricity bills and understand customer energy requirements
- Recommend suitable solar, battery, backup, and EV charging solutions
- Prepare and present proposals using Pylon and manage opportunities through our CRM
- Explain different brands, products, configurations, STCs, PRCs and relevant government rebates/incentives
- Follow up on quotations, arrange Zoom or on-site meetings as needed, and negotiate and close sales
- Work closely with our technical and installation team before handing over the project

About you

- Previous solar and/or battery sales experience
- Strong sales, customer consultation and closing skills
- Positive technical understanding of solar and battery systems, brands and configurations
- Understanding of electricity bills, energy consumption, STCs,



PRCs and current solar/battery rebates
- Experience with Pylon or similar solar proposal/design software is highly regarded
- Valuable CRM and follow-up discipline
- Confidence conducting Zoom, phone and face-to-face consultations
- Ability and willingness to attend customer sites and carry out sales/site inspections
- Good written and spoken English

$70,000-$90,000 base salary + Super, depending on experience
