THE POSITION

We are looking for a dynamic and personable Full-Time Porter to join our Front Office team. This is more than a porter role. You are the first and last impression of The Calile. From the moment guests arrive, your presence sets the tone. You are welcoming, confident and effortlessly polished. You will be at the heart of the hotel’s energy, moving between the driveway, lobby and guest interactions. Your role is to ensure every arrival and departure feels seamless, memorable and uniquely Calile.

What can you expect to be doing?

- Welcome guests with warmth and confidence, creating an exceptional first impression
- Assist with arrivals and departures, luggage handling and valet parking
- Keep the entrance and driveway immaculate and operating smoothly




- Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly with genuine care
- Share your knowledge of Brisbane and the James Street precinct. We will support you to become the local expert
- Support guests with requests, reservations, transport and special experiences
- Work closely with the Front Office team to ensure a seamless guest journey

ABOUT YOU

- Hold a current open Australian driver’s licence and are confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles
- Available to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including early and late shifts
