Are you an experienced HR professional with energy, initiative and strong recruitment experience?

Our client is a successful national consulting, engineering and project management firm looking for a capable HR professional to join their team in Kogarah.
n
This is a broad, autonomous role spanning recruitment, HR operations, people & culture and compliance, working closely with supportive management and a professional, engaging team.
n
The Role
n
Reporting to the General Operations Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day HR function, with a strong focus on end-to-end recruitment, while supporting managers and employees across the business.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from advertising and screening through to onboarding
n
- Prepare employment contracts and coordinate onboarding and offboarding
n
- Manage the HRIS, employee records and HR documentation
n
- Coordinate training, certifications and compliance requirements
n
- Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees
n
- Maintain HR policies, procedures and employment documentation
n
- Support compliance with the Fair Work Act and relevant Modern Awards
n
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and systems
n
- Assist with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 compliance
n
n
About You
n
You'll be an experienced HR professional who is organised, confident and proactive, with the personality and communication skills to build strong relationships across the business.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
- Demonstrated end-to-end recruitment experience
n
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
n
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards
n
- HRIS experience — Employment Hero or similar highly regarded
n
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
n
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
n
- The confidence to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
n
- ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 experience advantageous
n
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
n
n
