Fetch Recruitment is looking for reliable candidates who are keen to get into the civil construction industry, with multiple long-term projects across Melbourne's western, north-western and south-eastern suburbs.

If you've got some civil experience, a good work ethic and are willing to learn, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, gain experience and potentially move into machinery. Work is expected to continue through to Christmas and potentially beyond.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- General labouring on civil construction sites
n
- Assisting with concreting, drainage and stormwater works
n
- Trenching and installing electrical/NBN conduits
n
- Moving materials, site setup, fencing and general site duties
n
- Spotting machinery and working as part of a crew
n
- Landscaping, including mulching, planting and retaining walls
n
- Working alongside experienced operators, subcontractors and supervisors
n




- Chance to learn and operate machinery such as rollers, loaders and moxys
n

What's on offer

- $36-39p/h for candidates with relevant civil experience
n
- $22.41 daily travel allowance
n
- $19.74 meal allowance after 9.5 hours
n
- Consistent work through to Christmas
n
- Overtime available when required
n
- Opportunity to gain civil experience and progress into plant operation

What we're looking for

n

n
- Some civil experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
n
- White Card
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a team
n
- Able to provide recent work references
n
- Cert 3 in civil construction, but not essential
