Storeperson and Delivery Driver

Location: Cairns

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00 am start

Employment type: ASAP START

Pay rate: $35.51

n

We are seeking a reliable Storeperson and Delivery Driver to support a busy paint supply operation. This is a hands on position combining local deliveries with general warehouse duties. The successful candidate will hold a current C Class driver licence, be confident driving an automatic utility vehicle and be comfortable with repetitive physical duties.

About the role

n

n
- Your responsibilities will include:
n
- Completing store deliveries in a 2023 Isuzu D Max automatic utility vehicle
n
- Safely loading and unloading drums and pails of paint
n
- Handling mostly 15 litre pails weighing approximately 20 to 25 kg, with some items weighing up to 32 kg
n
- Delivering cartons, painting accessories and tools
n
- Putting incoming and returned stock away
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
n
- Completing general housekeeping and cleaning duties
n
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks when deliveries are completed
n

About you

n

To be considered, you will need:

n

n
- A current and valid C Class driver licence
n




- The ability to provide a copy of your licence before or on your first shift
n
- Confidence driving an automatic utility vehicle
n
- The physical capacity to safely and repeatedly handle items weighing between 20 and 32 kg
n
- Previous delivery driving, stores, warehousing or manual handling experience
n
- A reliable and safety focused approach
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- Availability to commence at 7.00 am, Monday to Friday Hours
n
