We are seeking an experienced Transport Administrator who can provide support to the Group Transport Manager of a large distribution company in Brendale. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, maturity and demonstrate an ability to be adaptable while completing adhoc administrative duties.

n

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key standards:

n

n
- To provide outstanding levels of administrative support to the Group Transport Manager and Supervisors
n
- Have high level of accuracy and attention to detail with data entry tasks
n
- Assist with transport documentation and manifest reports
n
- Knowledge of CoR processes advantageous
n
- Demonstrate high level of organisation skills and managing priorities calmly
n
- Have a high level understanding of clerical duties
n
- Previous experience in Transport and Logistics an advantage but not essential
n




- To present oneself in a positive and professional manner at all times.
n
- To aim to build strong and positive business relationships with customers and end users.
n
- Can create promotion signage for fund raising and special events each month
n
- Respond to client calls and email in a professional and efficient manner
n
- To co-operate by willingly participating and supporting team decisions, being a good team player.
n

Qualifications and Skills:

n

n
- A certificate in Business Administration or at least 2 years admin experience required
n
- High level of knowledge with all MS Office programs including Work and Excel
n
- Be creative and able to create marketing signage
n
- Highly organised
n
- Self starter and possess initiative
n
- Must be flexible with duties and open to supporting multiple colleagues
n
- Resilient
n
- High level of maturity, professionalism and focus
n
