n Work Type: Full time / Permanent (Monday – Friday, Some Saturdays available)

About the Role

n

We're looking for a reliable driver who doesn't mind getting work done. Direct Hire is looking for a dual-role Delivery Driver / Yard Hand to join our Sumner Park team. You'll be the face of the company on the road and in the yard.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- On the Road: Delivering and picking up construction equipment (generators, pumps, small excavators, temporary fencing, scaffold etc.) across the South-West Brisbane area.
n
- In the Yard: Loading/unloading customers, cleaning and performing basic maintenance checks on returned gear, service and clean portable toilets, and keeping the yard organised.
n
- Customer Service: Providing a quick rundown to our customers on how to safely operate the equipment upon delivery.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Licence:



Valid Open Manual Car Licence (MR or HR Licence is a huge plus).
n
- Experience: None needed. Full training provided,
n
- Fitness: This is a physical role—you'll be active all day and need to be comfortable lifting and securing loads. This role is constantly on the move around Brisbane jobsites.
n
- Attitude: Punctual, safety-conscious, and a "can-do" approach. You're someone who takes pride in keeping the gear and the yard looking cared for.
n
- White Card: This is a must have to ensure we are all working safe.
n
- Forklift Ticket: Highly regarded (but not a dealbreaker if you're willing to learn).
