AZCO PROJECTS is looking for a motivated Carpentry Apprentice (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year) to join our growing team.

We specialise in residential carpentry and work across Sydney on a range of new homes and quality residential projects.

This is a full-time position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and wants to develop their skills and become a qualified carpenter.

About the role

What you will be doing

n

As part of the team, you'll gain hands‐on experience across a broad range of residential carpentry, including:

- Wall and roof framing
n
- Timber roof construction
n
- Eaves and external cladding
n
- Fix-out and general carpentry
n
- Reading plans and understanding construction details
n
- Measuring, cutting and installing timber
n
- Safe use of hand and power tools
n
- Working from heights and on scaffolding where required
n
- General site duties
n




- Working alongside experienced carpenters and developing your skills on site
n

n

The role will provide exposure to different stages of residential construction rather than being limited to one repetitive task.

About you

- Is genuinely interested in becoming a qualified carpenter

- Is reliable, punctual and turns up ready to work
n
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Is willing to listen, learn and take direction
n
- Takes pride in the quality of your work
n
- Can work well as part of a team
n
- Is comfortable working in a physical, hands‐on environment
n
- Holds a current White Card
n
- Has a driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Is looking to commence or is currently completing a Carpentry Apprenticeship
n

1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices are all encouraged to apply.
