Position Overview

This role will be a Sydney site-based engineer for a Data Centre project, providing technical support and day-to-day assistance to the Engineering, Construction and Commissioning Departments.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in the supervision and management of day-to-day HVAC site activities – installation, commissioning and delivery of Climatech projects

Assist in the monitoring of quality, site progress and programme requirements, compliance with specifications and safety standards, maintaining documentation





Review drawings and schedules, provide engineering and technical support

Assist in identifying and resolving site and coordination issues

Coordination and communication with the Client, Builder, Trades, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Design Stakeholders and our internal Project team

Collaborate with the BIM and drafting team – internal and/or subcontractors, for the on-time delivery of high-quality concept drawings and its development into fully coordinated and buildable Workshop Drawings

Employ appropriate engineering techniques for the design of HVAC and Mechanical Services systems

Prepare, develop, review, coordinate and manage engineering design deliverables including system and schematic sketches, calculations, equipment selections, technical submissions, reports and specifications

Adhere to the Company’s HSE&Q; Policy and Procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years’ Mechanical Services experience in Data Centre, Commercial, Healthcare or Infrastructure industries, with strong preference working on Australian projects

Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent discipline

Experience in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam programmes

Effective communication and problem-solving skills

A valid driver’s license
