A great opportunity has opened for a Software Engineer to join a product engineering team working on technology within the trading space.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll be involved across the software lifecycle, from building and improving functionality through to deployment, production support and ongoing optimisation.

What you’ll be doing

Build and maintain high-quality backend software using C# and .NET Core

Develop and integrate REST APIs

Work with AWS to build and support cloud-based solutions

Contribute to automated testing and TDD

Support software running in production and troubleshoot issues

Use observability tools to identify problems and help prevent them recurring

Contribute to CI/CD and continuous delivery practices

Work collaboratively within an Agile engineering team

Participate in solution design, code reviews and continuous improvement

Apply clean code and sound software engineering principles





What we’re looking for

Commercial experience with C# / .NET Core

Experience working with AWS

Experience with automated testing and/or TDD

Understanding of CI/CD and continuous delivery

Experience supporting production software

Strong Agile and collaborative working experience

A focus on writing clean, maintainable and reliable code

A proactive approach to problem solving and ownership

Terraform

Python

Build pipelines

PostgreSQL or DynamoDB
