SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER | PE-BACKED HEALTHCARE | PERMANENT ROLE | SYDNEY | $160-190K+ THE COMPANY Highbury is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed healthcare business to appoint a Senior Finance Manager reporting directly to the CFO.

Backed by a leading private equity firm, the business is in an exciting growth phase, offering genuine scope for a commercially-minded finance professional to make a real impact and grow with the business, rather than simply keeping the wheels turning.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIIES

Own financial controls, month-end close, and statutory reporting across the group

Lead FP&A; activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis that genuinely shape commercial decisions

Partner closely with the CFO and broader leadership team on strategic initiatives, board reporting, and investor requirements

Provide commercial insights and business partnering support across operational teams

Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team,



driving process improvement and capability uplift

Get hands-on with ad hoc projects including system implementations, due diligence, and PE reporting requirements

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in a similar Senior Finance Manager or Finance Manager role in a PE-backed, high-growth, or healthcare experience highly regarded

Robust technical grounding across financial controls, statutory reporting, and compliance

Commercially astute with hands-on FP&A; experience

Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a genuine willingness to be hands-on when required

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to partner directly with a CFO and senior leadership

Adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business
